The influential Indigenes and Stakeholders Forum of the Federal
Capital Territory supports President Goodluck Jonthan to run for second
term in the 2015 elections. The Leader of the forum, Bulus Dogo,
made the call in Abuja stating that a second term for the President
will enable the President achieve and complete all goals set aside in
his transformation agenda for the benefit of the masses.
"It is good that we let the people know our stand on the person we will support for the presidency come 2015 because campaigns will start soon and we know that with the transformation agenda of President Jonathan, there is hope for every Nigerian irrespective of political or ethnic affiliation," Dogo said.
"The indigenes of the FCT have seen how the transformation process has affected us positively and is still affecting us. Now, we can say with conviction that somebody somewhere is listening to us and fashioning out ways to end our suffering.
"This government, unlike other administrations, has given us hope to believe in ourselves as true Nigerians and that is why we also believe in it," Dogo added.
Dogo pointed out that if President Goodluck Jonthan is given another four year- term to govern Nigeria, positive transformation would be achieved.
