Tiwa Savage Signs N30m Endorsement Deal With MTN

Big congratulations to Tiwa.

The pretty singer, today Wednesday July 17th signed a contract with telecoms giant, MTN.

Adding her to the list of top Nigerian artistes already signed on as MTN ambassadors.

I learnt the deal is worth N30million.

You recall that Wizkid was said to have earned close to N45million from his own deal with MTN, while Davido signed close to N32 million.

It now makes sense. I for talk since. Who gives away a £1.2m bottle of champagne or anything for that matter…just like that? Luxury designer Alexander Amosu has cleared the confusion. He took to his instagram page to explain that there’s a Swarovski diamond edition of his Taste of Diamond champagne. The diamond encrusted bottle is worth £1.2m, while the Swarovski version is just £350. This is probably the version Don Jazzy and Peter Okoye got. Una come dey gawk since. Hisss.! Wizkid Didn’t Buy The World’s Most Expensive Champagne He Popped For His Birthday – DailyMail

According to the very popular UK website, DailyMail, One Direction’s Liam Payne splashed £1.2million on the Alexander Amosu’s champagne Wizkid popped for his birthday.
Here’s what they wrote:

His band (Liam’s band) One Direction are officially the highest-earning youngsters in the music industry, and he took home a whopping £5million earnings in the last year alone.

And Liam Payne was evidently feeling very generous indeed on Tuesday night when he reportedly treated a pal to a bottle of champagne, worth a staggering £1.2million.

Dubbed ‘the world’s most expensive champagne’, the kind-hearted 19-year-old is
believed to have made sure his Nigerian musician pal, Wizkid, had the best 24th birthday a boy could wish for by splashing out on a bottle of Taste Of Diamond at London’s Funky Buddha nightclub.

 And it would appear generous Liam had made his friend’s night, with Wizkid tweeting: ‘What a night! Thanks to all that made that happen! Had fun!’

Just as most Nigerians were not happy with the amount the champagne costs, so also did most of the website readers say how disgusted they are with the amount in their comments.
Though Alexander Amosu says the Swarovski diamond edition costs  £350, not £1.2m.
