PHOTOS: BlackBerry launches Z30 and Z15

BlackBerry OS 10 is still struggling to make a serious impact, but a couple of new devices might be just what the doctor prescribed to get things right. We just got to see renders of the BlackBerry Z30 and BlackBerry Z15, which will allegedly be joining the company’s portfolio in the near future.
The BlackBerry Z30 isn’t actually a new smartphone – we’ve seen it before under the code name BlackBerry A10. The info about the name change comes from a leaked official tutorial, so it’s a pretty certain detail.

As you might remember, the BlackBerry Z30/A10 is expected to feature a 5″ OLED screen of 720p resolution and a Qualcomm chipset, consisting of two 1.7GHz Krait cores, a quad-core Adreno GPU and 2GB of RAM.

Moving on to the BlackBerry Z15, you have to keep your salt shakers at a hands distance. This one is far from being certain to exist and the rendered images themselves don’t seem too trustworthy either. Anyway, the source points to this as the first slider in the BlackBerry 10 family.

We didn’t get any other specs for the BlackBerry Z15, but if it turns out to be more than just a fan-made mockup, we are sure those will follow shortly.

GENERAL CHARLES AIRHIAVBERE'S BIRTHDAY WISHES TO CHIEF TONY ANENIH, CFR THE IYASELE OF ESAN LAND AT 80 - POLITICS

The Governorship Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party  (PDP) in Edo State 2012, Major General Charles Ehigie Airhiavbere (Rtd) sends his birthday wishes to the Chairman, Board of Trustees of the PDP Chief Tony Anenih on his 80th birthday celebration, below is the open birthday letter sent across the nation by General Charles.

My first contact with this great leader was in Washington DC in 1995 when he was on shuttle diplomacy on behalf of the then Military Government in Nigeria to the American Government. Then I was serving in the Nigerian Embassy in Washington as a Deputy Defence Attaché (Finance). Since then I have followed keenly the political contribution of this man Anenih to our Great nation.
If Chief Tony Anenih was a soldier, he would have aptly been described as a soldier’s soldier, in carriage, in discipline, in language, in his reticence and in his God-given leadership potentials.
I have come to understand that Chief Tony Anenih means different things to different people. To the elderly and the orphans, he is the God-sent helper in the hour of need. He Chief Tony Anenih will discuss problems with you with a view to solving them but he will never discuss who he helps or how he helps. To the financially challenged especially the student population, his annual scholarship awards have kept their hopes alive.
Chief Tony Anenih has a political resilience that continuously keeps his opponents dumbfounded. Just when his opponents think they have outsmarted him, he comes bouncing back with more graceful force. Frankly, he is without doubt a political enigma whose selfless service to the development of his country will for a long time to come be held invaluable.
Certainly, I and my family heartily rejoice with him as he celebrates his 80th birthday and we pray that he continues to find favour in the sight of God who alone can reward him for all his deeds.
Congratulations my National Leader.

Charles Airhiavbere, MBA, GSS, mni
Major General (Rtd)
