Chelsea Line-Up Mammoth £40m Bid for Zenit Striker Hulk - Sports

Stamford Bridge side to make big money move for Brazilian international.
Chelsea are lining up a last minute move for Zenit St Petersburg forward Hulk according to Sports Direct News.
Jose Mourinho has brought in veteran Samuel Eto’o to beef up numbers up front with Fernando Torres and Demba Ba both being rather average form and Romelu Lukaku still awaiting his chance to prove himself in Chelsea colours and now the Blues boss is ready to stump up £40m for the 27 year old.
Mourinho is happy to consider offers for Ba and Torres though does see Lukaku as having a long term future at Stamford Bridge. Hulk is said to be keen on a Premier League switch and a Tottenham bid to bring in the Brazilian on a loan deal has reportedly failed.
Hulk was a massive success at FC Porto, scoring 78 goals in his four seasons at the Portuguese club and helping them to a host of honours but his move to Russia hasn’t gone quite according to plan.
Zenit paid a massive fee for the powerful forward and thus far the investment hasn’t exactly paid off. Zenit lost their Russian Premier League title in his first season at the club and has managed just 13 goals in 35 appearances for the club.
