Spelling-bee champions everywhere have Miley Cyrus to thank for the latest addition to the Oxford Dictionary. The immense hype that Miley stirred with her booty hopping has landed the word “twerk” straight into the most referenced dictionary in the world!

The Oxford Dictionary lists “twerk” as a verb and the full description reads;

Pronunciation: /twəːk/ verb [no object] informal dance to popular music in a sexually provocative manner involving thrusting hip movements and a low, squatting stance.
