'Star Boy' Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun
a.k.a Wizkid is a talented singer, songwriter and performer who kicked
off his singing career at the early age of 11 when he recorded his first
song with one of
Nigeria’s celebrated music icons, OJB Jezreel. He proceeded in his
carrer and recorded a 7-track album released in his church in Lagos,
under the name of Lil’ Prinz; which eventually brought him to limelight.
WizKid just might be having his best
year in terms of financial success as he's been busy signing several
deals over the past year. The EME/StarBoy act just got his lucrative
endorsement deal with Pepsi extended out for 2 more years, and in
addition signed a deal with telecom giant, MTN to become one of the
brand ambassadors.
Wizkid joins the like of Iyanya, Praiz,
Chidinma and Davido, and others who are/ have been MTN ambassadors. The
deal is said to last for a year.
